The application came in on a Thursday evening: a place people subscribe to monthly, with teaching videos, daily affirmations, and a daily devotion with a scripture. We talked it through on the Monday morning call and the offer went out at 9:47am.
Tuesday the 18th at 1:13pm it was paid. Two minutes later a logo arrived with the note "this is kind of the aesthetic that I want for the app." A serif monogram on pure black, the name in wide caps between two hairlines. That became the whole app: black, ivory, and a hairline of brass, with the only red anywhere reserved for the dot that means Jack is on air.
At 2:49pm it was live. The daily devotion with scripture, the affirmation, the teaching videos, a live room from Jack's own camera that records itself into the library, and two weeks of sample days so it was not empty on day one. By 4:16pm Jack had already found the dashboard question, and the answer was that all of it is Jack's to write, from the phone, live the second it is saved.
