He had been paying $100 a month across two AI app builders and had nothing that could take a payment.

A streamer connects Stripe once, through one form inside the app. From then on every gift is charged to the sender's card and settles into that streamer's account in the same transaction, with Sterling's cut and Stripe's fee split off as it lands.
