A rideshare and food delivery app for a Chicago driver who delivers for the national apps and wanted to stop handing them a piece of every order. A rider opens one app and either books a car or orders from a kitchen down the street. Drivers, bike couriers and restaurants all work out of the same app. The owner sets the base fare, the per mile, the delivery fee and the commission, and changes them any time without calling us.

The application came in on a Monday afternoon and said it plainly: taxi or food delivery, I want to build my own so I keep 100% of everything. Nothing to replace, because nothing like it existed yet. Just a driver who had done the math on the cut.
On the Wednesday call we scoped both halves under one roof. Not a taxi app and a food app, one app: a rider opens it and either books a car or orders from a kitchen, the drivers and couriers work out of the same app, the restaurants run their own menus, and the owner sits above all of it setting the rates and taking the commission. The offer went out at 5:01pm with three limits in writing: licensing and insurance stay the owner's, the money runs through the owner's Stripe and never ours, and live tracking runs while the app is open.
Paid at 7:15pm. "No need to wait, this what I been waiting on." At 9:36am the next morning ViaX was live with four dashboards, every rate editable, and a door for drivers, couriers and restaurants to apply with their documents and wait on the owner's approval.
Pickup and drop off, the route on a map, the fare before they confirm. Live status from driver assigned to trip complete, the driver on the map, then a tip, a rating and a receipt that stays.
A restaurant applies, gets approved, and runs its own menu: sections, items, prices, in stock or not. Orders land in the pass with a switch for Taking orders and one for Slammed, which pauses new ones without closing.
Two sign up paths in the one app. Go online, offers come one at a time with the pay on them, reservations can be claimed early. Applications carry the license, a photo, and for bike couriers, a confirmed 18 and over.

Friday morning's review call was the day after launch. By 12:52pm riders could reserve a ride for a date and a time, with the fare locked in when they book it, and drivers could see those reservations and claim them early. The airports became flat fares the same hour: one price to O'Hare or Midway, no meter, no surge, agreed before the rider gets in. That price, the miles around each airport, and the size of the service area all live in Rates, the owner's to change any day without a word to us.
